Congratulations Juliana Levi

PhD student Juliana Levi takes home 2nd place in the Nanopitch from the Sustainable Nanotechnology Organization (SNO) annual competition. Her pitch focused on use of In/Pd nanoparticles attached to hydrogen permeable hollow fiber membranes as a technology to remove nitrate from drinking water. The technology is part of a multi-university collaboration sponsored by the National Science Foundation through the Nanosystems Engineering Research Center for Nanotechnology Enabled Water Treatment (NEWT). Her research is co-advised by Profs. Westerhoff and Rittmann at Arizona State University and Prof. Mike Wong at Rice University.
