Naushita Sharma is the winner of the awardee of the 2021 Environmental Professionals of Arizona (EPAZ) Scholarship. The selection committee noted that her application stood out among the applications we received from across the state, so well done. Her application noted a strong dedication to issues at the water-energy nexus, addressing disinfection by-products, and importance of volunteering and promoting STEM education through nanotechnology to create a diverse and inclusive environment. She will receive the award, and $1250, at the upcoming EPAZ webinar meeting. Naushita plans to graduate summer 2021 with a PhD degree in environmental engineering from Arizona State University.
